Indonesian Cultural Information

The culture or Indonesian Culture was the available cultural whole in the homeland that consist of heterogenous the ethnic group and the nation. Indonesian culture although being of various types, but basically was formed and affected by other big culture like Tionghoa culture, Indian culture and Arabian culture. Indian culture especially entered from the spreading of the Hindu religion and Buddha the Indonesian Archipelago long before Indonesia was formed. Tionghoa culture entered and influenced Indonesian culture because of the interaction of the trade that was intensive between traders Tionghoa and the Indonesian Archipelago (Sriwijaya). Arabian culture entered together the spreading of the Islam religion by Arabian traders who stopped over in the Indonesian Archipelago in their trip towards Tiongkok
